We typically train athletes ages 6+ with programs designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players.
If you or your athlete falls outside this age range, please contact us. We'll be happy to discuss the best training options available.

No! We offer volleyball programs for every skill level, including complete beginners. All that's required is a willingness to learn, work hard, and improve.

Absolutely! Boys are welcome at Real Volleyball Academy.
While boys' volleyball is still growing in our area, we are actively working to expand our boys program. If your athlete has friends who are interested, encourage them to join us—the more interest we receive, the easier it is to build boys teams.
Under USA Volleyball and the Southern Region Volleyball Association, boys and girls may compete together through the U12 age division.

Outdoor shoes or slides
Court shoes to change into
Water bottle
Comfortable athletic clothing
Knee pads (optional)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Parents cannot watch training inside the facility. However many training sessions are also streamed on our YouTube channel for parents who prefer to watch remotely.

If you're unsure which program is the best fit, contact us with your athlete's age and volleyball experience. We'll gladly recommend the most appropriate program.

Club volleyball is a competitive program that combines advanced skill development, team practices, and tournament competition throughout the season.

Our coaches evaluate athletes based on technical skills, athletic ability, effort, coachability, teamwork, attitude, and overall potential.

Playing time is earned through consistent effort, improvement, attitude, attendance, and performance throughout the season.

Tournament schedules vary by team. Each competitive team participates in multiple weekend tournaments during the season.

RVA emphasizes individualized skill development, experienced coaching, small coach-to-athlete ratios, and building confident athletes with strong character both on and off the court.

Attendance is important for both individual and team development. Please notify your coach as early as possible if your athlete will be absent.
